For the start of school, I purchased my kids new shows -- 2 sons each a pair of DC sneakers and my daughter a pair of Roxy sneakers and Roxy boots. Together the total was $196.00.

Famous Footwear was having a buy-one-get-one 1/2 off sale. This decreased my total by $42.00. I then used my Freedom Pass coupon that saved me an additional 20% and ended up saving ANOTHER $30.80! My $196.00 ended up only costing me $123.20 for a total combined savings of $72.80!!

I went to Aspen Dental for extractions of 14 teeth and upper and lower false teeth. The cost was going to be $5400, but when I gave them my AmeriPlan card, the cost was $3600. -- I haved $1800!. Thanks, AmeriPlan!

Dear Kelly,
The day after my card arrived I used it at my usual pharmacy, because I had hit the "coverage gap" between my insurance company and Medicare. I took the card to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription and asked them to run the AmeriPlan card through their computer system. They did and the amount of the charge was $47.14. I then asked them to run the prescription through on my insurance card. They did and the amount the insurance wanted as a copay was an astronomical $1,054.00. I have since used the AmeriPlan card every time I purchase any prescriptions. I have told a number of friends about this experience and have referred them to AmeriPlan.

I went to Wal-mart pharmacy to fill a prescription. The intial cost was $71.54. When I used my Ameriplan card it only cost me $21.84. Wow! I saved almost $50.00!!
