I recently purchased eyeglasses through Lens Crafters, Lakewood, CA. After examination, it was determined I needed lenses and frames. The ones I chose retailed for $504.00, but after presenting my AmeriPlan card, I was told the cost was $240.00; a savings of $264.00 (52%).

I went to a local Lens Crafters to purchase a pair of prescription glasses. After not seeing the type of frames that I wanted, the representative directed me over to the expensive designer frames.
