After upgrading to medical I developed some breathing problems. I was misdiagnosed with anxiety and put on psychiatric medications which drove me into a deep depression requiring a 4-month hospitalization. I had about $100,000 in unpaid hospital bills and didn't have the strength to deal with it. AmeriPlan set me up with a wonderful patient advocate who essentially took over my hospital bills. I got word from my patient advocate that 100% of my bills from my three-month stay at Hopkins were forgiven. I'm glad my finances and my credit score are still in good standing. My husband had two major surguries in 2008. One for appendicitis and the other for a ruptured Hernia. The final hospital totaled $147,113.08. His Blue Cross insurance covered $100,141.82. We contacted AmeriPlan who advised us an Ameriplan Advocate would step in and work with the hospital. Ameriplan's Hostial Advocate's efforts, $45,605.05 was adjusted and the total balance we owed out of our pockets was only $1366.21. A $45,605.05 savings! This is remarkable. Thank You AmeriPlan! I had an over night stay in the hospital because of a light stroke. My bill was $7,752.00, so I called AmeriPlan Health about providing the hospital advacacy service. I completed some forms and faxed a copy of my bill and I am happy to say that the entire bill was satisfied in full.

I was so glad to know, AmeriPlan accepts, ANYONE, with,"on-going medical problems".
Having chest pains,I went to the Emergency Room and had Labs, X-rays and a Cat Scan. Results = Pneumonia. Total cost,$5,700.00! The AmeriPlan Advocacy Program saved me the TOTAL BILL! That's a 100% SAVINGS!!
